When a Company Owner is the Operator
When project administration and procedures revolve around the owner of a contracting firm, this is both a positive and a negative. As construction contracting is an "owner-operator" business, having dominant control of project management means costs are kept low while revenue from the contract billings and change orders are kept high. No one else has the focus of the contractor's money than the contractor.
