In a continuation of my interest to share why using the phone is still
valid when prospecting for new business, following up with clients, or
talking with alliance and future alliance partners, I am always on the
hunt for stories and articles to back up my theory of a multi-facted
approach to selling and servicing your client (and future client) base.
I enjoyed seeing Rain Today’s article, The Death of the Business Phone Call by Ron Smith, where he explains his own emailing scenario and posts this advice:
If an email requires more than one or two sentences as a reply, I pick
up the phone. …..I give my fingers a rest once in a while and use
them to punch in the phone number instead.
Well put. All I can say is, Pick Up The Phone! You will be amazed at the results.
