Wow. Best Buy, a store where you can buy the latest in consumer electronics, is taking a spin back to the good old days, according to a story in yesterday’s New York Post.

Writer Peter Lauria says Best Buy may turn over some space to vinyl records. This news follows what Lauria says was a successful test in 100 stores.

This undoubtedly will come as a jolt to a generation of young people who may never have seen a vinyl record. Perhaps shoe stores should add space for saddles shoes and bobby sox. I feel a sock hop coming on.
