If you have a blog, you probably know about Google News Alerts, a very nice tool (one of many) from Google. You can set up a Google News Alert on any topic, and when that topic is mentioned in a blog, or in the news online, or on a web page, Google will send you an email message and let you know.
That’s why I’m writing this blog post — because Google sent me a News Alert to let me know that two bloggers had written in their blogs, wondering what happened to the Minding Her Business blog. I write here from time to time, but I post in other places more often. So, I wanted to add a note here to let you know where I write most of the time.
My new Constant Networker blog here on AllBusiness.com is one place to find my observations and rants on networking, life and business. Another place is the Ask Liz Ryan online community on Yahoo!groups. I have another blog called Ask Liz Ryan and articles on BusinessWeek.com and Yahoo! all the time. If you want to keep up with all of that — not that I’m recommending it! — you can even set up a Google News Alert on the term “Liz Ryan.” But you might be bombarded! I write thousands of words a wee — keeps me sane with five children underfoot.
