Not every maker targets the business market, let alone the small and medium-size business market, as a major focus. You will see some dazzling ads, though, so we acknowledge them here, although we won't be covering them in depth yet. And notice the souped-up gamer and multimedia systems — sorry, as nifty as they are, you won't be able to justify those models to your accountant. Bummer!
Some of these vendors specialize in systems that are famed for their ability to generate polygons at blinding speeds — if you know what that means and why it's important, then you're spending far too much time playing computer games. The graphics and computational capabilities of some of these systems are astounding; in their specialized field, these are bargain-priced supercomputers with flames painted on the sides, neon lights seen through clear-plastic side windows, dual graphics cards with their own cooling devices, room-shaking sound systems, and gigantic monitors to see all the action. But not for you.
