Using Articles to Drive Traffic to Your Blog, Website or Ezine

I've been reading a lot of blog posts and ezine articles about the power of writing articles to drive traffic to your website and/or blog.  This marketing method has been around for years and for some reason is making a resurgence, at least as far as awareness goes.

There's a reason marketing experts suggest this method...it works.  I've been using this strategy since 1997 and can attest to the fact that the more articles you write and submit to article directories and announcement lists, the more traffic you will get.  Way back in the dark ages of the Internet, the advice was to put a link to subscribe to your ezine in the author's resource box (your byline info at the end of the article).  Now, the advice is to include a link to your blog.  Again, I've employed this method over the last 8 months since starting my blog and can honestly say that every time one of my articles is posted online in the various directories, my blog traffic increases.

Whether it's to your blog, your ezine, or your website, this is a great way to generate traffic to your sites and awareness of your expertise.
