The Biggest Reason for Failure
Perhaps you've heard the term "winners never quit and quitters never win"? It's a common saying, but have you ever stopped to think about what it really means? A "statistic" that is often kicked around about home based businesses is that 97 percent of them fail.
I have never been able to find an adequate source for that statistic, but I sure see and hear it quoted often enough. Let's say it's reasonably accurate for a minute and forget about the reliability of the statistic. Why do you suppose that many people would start something and then fail?
I think there's lots of reasons behind home business failure, but the biggest one of all is that people give up. They quit. They throw up their hands and say outta here. And therein lies the wisdom of the second part of that quote. You can't win or be successful at a home based business if you quit.
There are lots of reasons for quitting but the number one reason involves lack of patience. That is, people don't give their efforts enough time to bear fruit. People become disappointed and disillusioned when their home based business doesn't produce a sizable income in 30 days. Success takes time, persistence, and patience. If you can give it those 3 things – along with some nurturing – the path should ultimately lead you to success.
