Although BlackBerry has long been the smartphone of choice for business owners and professionals -- a 2010 report by Forrester Research found that 35 percent preferred the device -- the Android platform has managed to make quite a name for itself. In fact, a recent survey by The Nielsen Company found that 36 percent of all smartphone users today have an Android phone, followed by the iPhone at 26 percent and BlackBerry at 23 percent.
