Comic preacher and anti-corporate activist Reverend Billy of the Church of Stop Shopping tells AllBusiness he's not against ALL shopping -- just shopping in those big, faceless chain retail outlets.

Instead, he suggests keeping your money in the community by spending your money in small, local stores. "Localujah!"

But that's not all. In honor of the holiday season, the Reverend also explains why he tried to short-circuit Black Friday and suggests alternative ways to celebrate Christmas that rely on greener local services and hand-made goods.
