Definition for: Trademark
A "trademark" is a word, phrase, symbol or design (or any combination thereof) used to distinguish the products or services of a person or entity from those in the market place. A registered trademark is a trademark that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has accepted and registered. Registered trademarks are identified with an ®.
