The Most Innovative Products from the Seoul International Invention Fair
International invention shows are incredibly eye opening. Seeing the efforts of people from other countries really exposes you to the differences – and similarities – between people from different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Nicole Lininger, InventHelp’s INPEX Trade Show Director, recently traveled to Seoul, South Korea, to attend the Seoul International Invention Fair (SIIF), hosted by the Korea Invention Promotion Association. An invention connoisseur herself, Lininger knows hot new products when she sees them. Take a look at her list of the coolest, most innovative products at the Seoul International Invention Fair.
LED Traffic Safety Arrow
The LED Traffic Safety Arrow is a red sign that can be identified more than 600 feet away from an accident scene during the day and more than 900 feet away at night. The arrow can be stored in a driver’s trunk and then brought out and placed on the trunk or roof of a car after an accident or if the car is broken down on the side of the road or highway. Arrow-shaped flashing light can warn drivers of an upcoming accident and help lead them to a safe area and avoid the accident. This helps to protect the driver and prevent a secondary accident.
Dokdo Tank
Named after Korea’s famous Dokdo Island, the Dokdo Tank is a sleek modern fish tank that acts as a salt water aquarium and also enables the user to grow coral. The best part of the invention is you can operate the tank from an app from an Android or IOS phone, controlling the lights, chemicals, etc., remotely, all from your device.
Golf Clip Tee
The Golf Clip Tee helps a golfer find the correct direction when swinging a club, in order to reduce hook or slice. It assists with increasing swing stability due to head location on back position. Simply attach the clip on the brim of a cap, visor, or belt while on the course. There are two versions for amateurs or senior/pros and it comes in red, yellow, blue, white, pink, orange, and green.
Altbee – Minicruiser
This new skateboard provides excellent visibility for night riders. It features LED lights that allow the board to change colors with a touch of a button or use of a remote. The skateboard is transparent, which allows the light to be reflected through the transparent plate. The board is made out of synthetic, honeycombed resin. The Minicruiser can be switched between blue, yellow, white, red, green, and pink lights.
Monster Rail
The Monster Rail is a new exercise device that works both the triceps and biceps. The equipment works like an accordion and can be used while seated. You can use it with up and down motion, as well as squeezing the device inward and outward to flex muscles. This is great for TV lovers because you can watch your favorite shows and pump your triceps and biceps at the same time!
These new inventions were all the rage at the Seoul International Invention Fair. Innovative, techy gadgets seemed to be the trend, along with smart phone-connected products. Have you attended an invention show lately? What are some of the most innovative products that you have seen?
