Laser Eye Surgery- what will they think of next?
Just a few short years ago if you needed glasses or contacts you had no options. Today I went with my wife and she had her vision "corrected" using lasers. It is amazing what we can have done these days and to even attempt to imagine what is to come- well; that's our job as business owners isn't it. To spend our time thinking, planning and executing for the future- either near term or distant. Well isn't that what you spend your time as a business owner doing? Most likely not. If you are like me you spend your time fighting fires that arise rather than finding out why they start in the first place. You spend your time answering phones calls and emails. You spend your time answering questions from employees that come through your revolving office door. Right! Well, we all do all of this reactive stuff and more- way more than we should. We have to realize that we must take the time to get creative again- we did at least once when we started- its time to get back it. If we don't or if you don't or if someone doesn't we won't find the next great medical or other product or service that makes business great. Get away from your office if you have to- but do something today to at least PLAN to make yourself work ON your business- start there then try to keep it going. We all need you to.
