Keep Positive Business Focus in Bad Times
There's a lot of bad ecomonic news nowadays and it may be tempting to let yourself get dragged down with it. I'm not saying you shouldn't pay attention to what's going on, but how caught up do you get in the economic news? Do you think about it so much that you dwell on it?
Instead of focusing so much about things that are for the most part, out of my control, I like to focus on things with a postive slant like:
- What would make my business better?
- What would make my business more profitable?
- Who do I want to meet and network with?
- How can I provide an exceptional customer experience?
- What resources do I want to read/watch/listen to?
One of the advantages of a home based business (or at least it should be one of your advantages) is that you can operate with less overhead that traditional business. This removes a certain level of risk from your home business. So read the news and be aware of what's happening, but move the positive business focus to the forefront.
