"Idea Wins! Wow Microsoft!"

I usually don't write about promos but in this case I have decided to make an exception. It seems that Microsoft is giving away Office Accounting Express 2007, this is the Express version but it seems to be quite full-featured, AND having a contest where you can win $100,000 and free retail space in New York City. To enter the contest you have to be 21, have something you can sell at a retail location and on the Internet, apply by the end of January 2007 and have a good background (make sure you follow the entry rules and requirements!). Quickbooks currently dominates the market that Accounting Express is trying to get a foothold in and Microsoft giving the product away makes a lot of sense. If you think it won't work, remember what happened when they started giving away Internet Explorer. We'll see if this product is able to grab market share. I guess in the end i like the idea of free software and getting money and space to start up your business. It gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling. P.S.
