Green Cars Not So Green

This was startling and disheartening. The International Automobile Federation conducted a study on 14 different cars -  different sizes, different models, different manufacturers - and what they found was that some new cars actually emit more C02 then they did five years ago.  There were no hybrids tested, but these were all the latest models with environmental advances.  

There were some models that did improve, but none of the models tested came even close to what’s possible in emission reductions.  What’s most disappointing is that the worst results came from manufacturers who put forth green profiles, including Renault and Honda.
