Do the big things first
Most of us have heard this along the way - either in business school, from a mentor or in a training program. I tell my people this same thing all the time. But how hard is it to do? Really, Really Hard! When you look at your "to do" list each day which ones do you highlight to get done- most people migrate to the ones they can accomplish quickly and leave the bigger ones for later. This only leads to more and more stress in business- stress after all is a result of unfinished business. So, to help eliminate stress pick that one big, looming task and work on it before the smaller things- it will make a difference.
