work ticket
form used to charge jobs for direct labor used. This work ticket, sometimes called time ticket or time card, indicates the time spent on a specific job. An employee who is paid an hourly wage and who operates a lathe will have one clock card that is used as a basis for determining individual earnings; but the employee will fill out or punch several work tickets each day when starting and stopping work on particular jobs or operations.
