wireless communication
the transfer of electromagnetic signals from place to place without cables, usually using infrared light or radio waves.
Radio signals are inherently non-private. There is no physical way to keep them from being received, voluntarily or involuntarily, by receivers other than the intended one. Private information should not be transmitted by radio unless it is encrypted to keep it secret.
