Transportation Management Office (TMO)
department within the U.S. Postal Service responsible for planning how the service transports mail. Mailers usually inform the local TMO if they are planning a large mailing, so that the TMO can prepare. The TMO may tell the mailer what sequence to use in loading the mail onto USPS trucks for easier dispatching later.
