transfer hub
U.S. Postal Service mail-routing facility within the preferential network that distributes mail to various state distribution centers and Bulk Mail Centers within its service area. The transfer hub does not sort or otherwise break apart the mail it receives; it only forwards it on for processing elsewhere.
