secondary mouse button
the mouse button used to call up the action menu. For a right-handed user, this is usually the right mouse button. The left mouse button (the primary mouse button) is used to select objects.
Left-handed users have the option of reversing the default order for mouse buttons; they can use the right mouse button as the primary button and the left button as the secondary.
