SCO(formerly Caldera), a software company based in Lindon, Utah, that has sued IBM and other companies, claiming that it owns a copyright to part of the code in the open-source operating system Linux. The case (SCO Group v. International Business Machines Inc.) has not been decided at the time of publication.
