quality review
evaluation by one accounting firm or accountant of the soundness of the practices of another accounting firm or accountant. A professional organization may also be engaged to examine the audit functions performed by a CPA firm. The quality review will include an appraisal of such areas as working paper preparation, audit programs, internal control, audit reports, staff functions, scheduling, supervision, client relations, and training.
