quality control chart
graph sometimes used in analyzing deviations of actual results from standards, known as variance. Measurements of actual results are shown on the graph and compared with measurements of the expected mean and upper and lower control limits, which are established by using statistical procedures. In statistical quality control charts, the upper and lower control limits are set three standard deviation from the mean.
