Dictionary of Marketing Terms: posting date
posting date
date on which display of an outdoor advertisement begins. Usually, posting dates are every fifth day, starting with the first of the month. For example, an advertiser's posting date may be on either January 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, or 30. However, plant operators have adopted this posting date system for flexibility and will, if necessary, arrange another posting date if it is specifically requested by an advertiser.
