Dictionary of Marketing Terms: Postal Customer Council
Postal Customer Council
group sponsored by the U.S. Postal Service to give mailers a channel for communication with the Postal Service at a local level; abbreviated PCC. The PCC informs other mailers of new regulations and rates, organizes postal facility tours, and helps mailers to make the best use of postal services and products. Any mailer wishing to be on the local PCC may volunteer through his customer service representative. Meetings are usually held monthly, during which new USPS regulations and services are explained and ideas are shared.
