a category of agricultural land use. This type of land is typically used by animals. However, pasture land may be shiftable or rotated to crop use.
Example: Although cows were feeding on the pasture and grazing land, the farmer intended to convert the pasture into cropland the next year because of its fertility and expected economic conditions.
