paper sizes (ISO)
a set of standard sizes of paper used everywhere except the United States, of which A4 is the best known (see A4). The sizes are shown in Table 12. Each size is made by cutting the next larger size in half, and all sizes have the same height-to-width ratio (1.414:1). A0 paper has an area of 1 square meter, and B0 paper is 1 meter wide.
