ozalid
process whereby a photograph, artwork, or other material can be duplicated from the original copy, in the same size as the original, without first making a negative. Ozalid prints are used in the process of reproducing original photographs, business forms, and architectural drawings. They will lack the sharp quality of the original but will be sufficient to check the accuracy of the copy before continuing the printing process.
