ohm
the unit of measure of electrical resistance. If an object has a resistance of 1 ohm, then an applied voltage of 1 volt will cause a current of 1 ampere to flow.
Impedance is also measured in ohms. Impedance is similar to resistance but is defined in terms of alternating current rather than direct current.
