inactive
- customer or list name that has not made a purchase or had a transaction within a set period of time, usually 12 months. See also former buyer.
- customer file record not currently receiving service, such as issues due but not being sent on a magazine subscription because the mailer knows the address in the record is not valid, or because pastdue charges on a credit order have not been paid, or because service on the record has otherwise been temporarily discontinued.
