HDSL (High-bit-rate Digital Subscriber Line)
a type of high-speed network connection provided through ordinary telephone lines. Unlike ordinary DSL (ADSL), HDSL is symmetric (i.e., the upload and download speeds are both 1.5 Mbps), but ordinary telephone service is not included.
