Dictionary of Real Estate Terms: Full Service Gross (FSG)
Full Service Gross (FSG)
a lease requiring the owner to pay all operating expenses, such as cleaning, maintenance and repairs, utilities, insurance, and ad valorem taxes. Similar to gross lease; contrast net lease.
Example: The typical rent on a full service gross lease for the building was $24 per year; on a triple-net lease it would be only $18 per year because the operating expenses would be paid by the tenant.
