Dictionary of Marketing Terms: full run
full run
- order for advertising to be placed in all editions of a newspaper that are put out on any one day. Some regional daily newspapers publish different editions for each of the counties (or sections of county) in which they are distributed. Each of these editions has its own rate card for advertising, but the publisher also sets a special rate for advertisers who wish to advertise in all the editions (to advertise on a full run).
