Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FWB)
The largest of eight German securities exchanges operated by Deutsche Borse AG. The exchange has more than 300 market participants, and it is the world's third-largest securities exchange in terms of turnover and dealings. It accounts for more than 85% of Germany's securities turnover. The exchange uses the Xetra computerized trading system, originally for German and cross-border trading in Frankfurt. It features other electronic systems and traditional floor trading. The DAX Share Index is its benchmark index of securities. Settlement is T+2.
