In general: prefix to a memorandum that indicates that no action is required on the contents.
Finance: prefix to a security price quote by a market maker that indicates the quote is not a firm offer to trade at that price.

prefix to a security price quote by a market maker that indicates the quote is "for your information" and is not a firm offer to trade at that price. FYI quotes are given as a courtesy for purposes of valuation. FVO (for valuation only) is sometimes used instead.
