Federal Financing Bank (FFB)
agency in the U.S. Treasury established by Congress in 1973 to centralize borrowing by federal agencies. The FFB makes loans at favorable rates to agencies that do not have ready access to the credit markets; its debt is a direct obligation of the U.S. Treasury.
