CONUS
conterminous United States, that is, the 48 contiguous states and the District of Columbia. The federal per diem rate for lodging, meals, and incidental expenses for a given locality is a combined maximum rate equal to the sum of the maximum lodging amount and the meals and incidental expenses (M&IE) rate for such locality.
