Consolidated Quotation System (CQS)
electronic service providing quotations on issues traded on the New York Stock Exchange, the American Stock Exchange, regional stock exchanges, and issues traded by the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) in the third market. NASDAQ reprocesses the information and provides it to subscribers to its Composite Quotation System, also known by the initials CQS.
