- bank's vault cash that may be used to satisfy reserve requirements. Cash on hand, including currency and coin, may be used to meet legal reserve requirements.
- revolving line of credit attached to a checking account allowing a consumer to write checks for amounts greater than the account balance without paying overdraft charges. Also called cash reserve checking or overdraft protection
