address
- a number or bit pattern that uniquely identifies a location in a computer memory. Every location has a distinct address.
- a letter and number identifying the column and row of a cell in a spreadsheet. See relative address; absolute address.
- a set of numbers identifying a machine on the Internet; see IP address.
