Copying Memorized Reports from One Company to Another
If you work with multiple companies in QuickBooks and want to share custom reports here’s how you can create them once and copy them to other companies.
- Open the memorized report list.
- From the memorized report menu, select Export Template, and save it to a folder of your choice.
- Open the next QuickBooks company.
- Open the memorized report list.
- From the memorized report menu, select Export Template, and save it to a folder of your choice.
There is one caveat. The selection for the custom reports to be exports must be generic. For example, you can't select speccific accounts or customers.
