BizGym launches Business Planning and Sales Pitch Writing
One of the reasons for starting TechBizTalk on Facebook instead of simply on the web is the critical mass of startups, established entrepreneurs and other successful companies playing in that social network. Click here to share your company details or if you are successfully using an app, please share that too and I'll profile you as a mini case study here or on the main site. Thanks!
Within hours of launching this week, the page had thousands of visits and dozens of companies submitting their apps, tools, software, services for review. Each week, I'll try to profile some of the cool new apps here as well as on my TechBizTalk website which I'm waiting until May to launch.
BizGym was one of the first to hit the Facebook Wall. According to the company site:
BizGym is dedicated to helping business-minded folks make the world a better placethrough mind-blowing entrepreneurial tools. BizGym is produced and
funded by StoryManager, Inc., a tiny little company with a bodacious
bite.
So, the web-based app is super fast. You don't have to sign up to get started. Just click load app and away you go to entering information about your company. You can pick an Elevator Pitch, a mindmapping tool to help you define customers, and more. There is a free plan and then plans start at $4.95/mo. It has been written up by Dane Carlson and Kim Komando among many others.
While it may look like a business plan creator or a pitch creator, it is a bit different than that. The team calls it an Idea Bank -- a place where you can keep depositing your ideas and thoughts as your company idea and the building of that idea takes hold. They have wisely teamed up with educational partners to bring this service to middle and high school students too. Sharp.
