Amusing Blogs on Communication
With April Fool's come and gone and tax day right around the corner, I thought that I would highlight a few of my favorite blogs/websites dedicated to (humorous? poignant?) communications. A few of these are widely read--so I'm hardly breaking news here--but hopefully a few of you will find new ways to amuse yourself with the hows and whys of modern communication.
Post Secret is "an ongoing community art project where people mail in their secrets anonymously on one side of a postcard." Lovely, funny, touching, several new postcards are uploaded every Sunday. There are also now four Post Secret books based off of the popular website.
Postcards from yo Mama is a hilarious community blog featuring text messages and emails from our mothers. Good stuff.
Along the same line, My Parents Joined Facebook displays screencaps of the funny and embarrassing things parents post on their children's walls.
