7 Must-Try Video Marketing Tools That Save Tons of Time

It's almost impossible to overstate the importance of video marketing. Videos are shared twice as much as any other form of content. They also drive purchases: 88% of people say they've been convinced to buy a product or service based on a brand’s video.

So there's every reason to be creating more videos for your business. Except...what if making a video takes a lot of time? If that’s your hold-up, you’re not alone. Lack of time is the number-one reason why marketers say they do not do video marketing.

But here's the thing: video marketing doesn't have to take a lot of time. There are plenty of video marketing tools that make it super easy and super fast to produce a video. To help speed up your video marketing work, we've rounded up a short list of some of the best video marketing tools, expressly selected for how much time they can save you.

So get ready to lose the excuse of "I don't have time to make videos." With these tools, you'll be creating and publishing videos as easily as if they were text-based content—maybe even faster.

    7 easy-to-use video marketing tools

    Animoto

Animoto has the perfect blend of features and an easy-to-use interface. Even on the free plan, you can make a simple video in just a few minutes. Just search for a template that fits what you want your video to be about (there are hundreds of templates), then adjust the copy, layout, audio, and images to suit your brand. Save your work as a template for next time to speed up your work even more.

Animoto also lets you leave comments for teammates or clients, and you can export videos into square, landscape, or vertical aspect ratios. Videos can be uploaded directly to LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.

    Lumen5

Do you have a blog or a lot of text-based content? Lumen5 may end up being your favorite video creation tool. If you have a blog, for example, Lumen5 can pull in the text from your blog and allow you to edit the script for your video right within the video-creation screen. Lumen5 will then pull that text into a template and break it up into slides, complete with relevant stock photo images. Videos are also automatically resized into landscape, square, or vertical aspect ratios.

In the end, this means you can create a lot of videos very quickly, and you can take all the blog posts and text-based content you have and convert them into videos (or summary videos) fast.

Lumen5 offers a free plan, but if you really want to make the most of the tool, you'll probably want to invest in the $ 79-a-month plan.

    TubeBuddy

YouTube is the 800-pound gorilla of the video marketing world. It's the second-largest search engine for any kind of content, video or text-based. Basically, if your videos aren't on YouTube, you have some explaining to do.

Given how important YouTube is, it seems I should include a tool for it. And if you could only have one tool for video marketing on YouTube, TubeBuddy should be it. TubeBuddy will let you do all the things you've been wondering how other YouTubers do—and will let you do it in less time than if you did it yourself.

TubeBuddy offers a good free plan, a mobile app, and a browser extension, and can be directly integrated into your YouTube channel. It's also extremely easy to use, so you won't be wasting hours trying to figure it out.

    Veed.io

Veed.io is an excellent tool for making training videos, product videos, or slideshows. It's simple, affordable, and the secret weapon of a surprising number of online influencers, especially YouTubers and podcasters.

The unusually accurate subtitles, auto-resizing, stickers, and annotations features make this tool worth trying. Veed.io also offers a free plan, like every other video marketing tool here, and its first-tier paid plan costs only $25 a month.

    CapCut

If you want to do Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts, or any type of video editing on your phone, CapCut is a must. Why? Well, ask the influencers—most of them are using it already.

It has a slew of powerful features, but it can be a little intimidating if you’re not used to video editing. However, there are tutorials, and it's worth your time to watch them. And yes, CapCut offers a free plan. It also has a desktop version for Mac users, too.

    Vimeo

I could easily write an entire post just comparing Vimeo and Wistia, but I'm including Vimeo because it seems to have more integrations.

While Vimeo has recently added a lot of video creation features, it's primarily a video hosting tool, and that's what's important here. You can use YouTube for video hosting, and it is free, but you'll have more control over the user experience with Vimeo.

Vimeo offers a free plan, but it's limited enough that you will probably want a paid plan. Still, you can get a "Starter" paid plan for $15 a month, which is, like the name suggests, enough to get started.

    Loom

Need to make a video tutorial? Or want to create an async video walk-through of a project for a client or a teammate? Nothing is easier and faster to use than Loom.

The free plan will limit you to making videos of five minutes or less. If you want to upgrade to the full version, it's $10 a month. The paid plan will also let you add links to your videos and offers password protection. There also is a desktop app, a mobile app, and a Chrome extension.
