5 Ways To Ensure Your Employees Never Quit
It doesn’t matter how big or how small your organization is -- employee retention is always a concern.

To help you hold on to your top performers, here are five ways to ensure your employees never quit:
1. Keep Them in the Loop
Engagement in what your business is doing is a big motivator for employees. It’s also a big moneymaker for your business, according to a study by Tower Perrin.
Give your employees more ownership in their work and in your company as a whole. By keeping your team in the loop, they’ll be happier in their jobs, more passionate about their work, and more motivated to perform well. This high performance and increased on-the-job happiness will reduce turnover.
2. Give Your Team a Voice
It’s not enough to keep your team in the loop. You must also give each of your employees a voice.
In meetings, ask your team questions. Dig in and give every employee a platform to express ideas for the growth of your company. Doing so will help make your employees more invested in your business.
3. Accommodate Their Schedules
Employees work an average of 8.7 hours a day at your company -- and that doesn’t leave a lot of time for family and recreation.
Giving your employees flexible work schedules makes it easier for them to run errands and enjoy time with their families. Accommodate schedule requests as best you can. An employee scheduling app can help you track requests and make adjustments on the fly
4. Offer a Few Fun Perks
Schedule changes aren’t the only perk you can offer. Buying team lunches, offering outings as a reward for sales, and giving your employees the option to work from home one day a week are other ways to show your team you care. These perks can go a long way and even make your company more enjoyable to work for.
5. Be a Leader
Up until now, the suggestions for improving employee loyalty have involved something fun. Truth be told, your team wants a leader too.
Step up to the plate and take on the difficult tasks. That includes having tough conversations, guiding your team through projects, and making yourself available to your employees when they need you.
Employee loyalty is a process. You must build your company’s culture over time by making your business a place where employees have a voice and flexibility. Have fun with your team, but be a strong leader in the process. Over time, you’ll create a business that employees feel proud to call their place of work.
