5 Generous Ways to Thank Your Most Loyal Subscribers

It may be tempting to sit back and relax once you've gained a healthy amount of subscribers, but getting customers to opt in to your service is only step one. Now comes the time to thank your loyal customers for choosing you, because don't forget, a decision to unsubscribe is always just one click away.

That's why we asked five successful entrepreneurs from FounderSociety the following question:

    Q. What’s one unique way I can thank my subscribers for their loyalty?

    1. Surprise them

Lisa CurtisPeople love surprises. They also love free stuff. We sent a few of our top customers a free product along with a handwritten note. It made a world of difference. —Lisa Curtis, Kuli Kuli

    2. Ask for their feedback

Your clients and subscribers definitely want to hear a thank you, but they also want to be heard. Expressing your gratitude can be done via a handwritten note or a thank you email, but it can also be done by asking about their experience. Find out what your subscribers want more of or what they find helpful, then see if you can provide it to them. This way, you can continue giving to them in a meaningful way. —Laurie Davis, eFlirt

    3. Engage them

Jessica BakerAt AlignedSigns.com we love offering contests and quizzes, especially during holidays. It’s an opportunity for people to get engaged with our brand, spread the word about who we are with friends, and for us give back to our customers in a fun and productive way. —Jessica Baker, Aligned Signs

    4. Offer them benefits

Ajmal SaleemAs an entrepreneur, I have access to coupons and discounts that none of my clients have access to. Giving them benefits that are shareable is a free way to appear caring without costing the company any money. —Ajmal Saleem, Suprex Learning

    5. Mail them free goodies

Ben WalkerA few times a year, we mail boxes filled with notepads, pens, eyeglass cleaners, and candy to our clients, along with thank you notes signed by everyone in the office. It goes a long way; they thank us every time for sending it. —Ben Walker, Transcription Outsourcing, LLC
