site-built home
a home that is constructed primarily on its site. Although some components may be prefabricated off-site, the home is erected, framed, and finished by workers on location using stock materials.
Example: Developers of site-built homes often feel that their products are superior to manufactured housing subdivisions or rental communities in close proximity.
