fountain fill
a fill that is composed of two or more colors. In between the colors is a smooth blending.You are able to rotate the angle of the fill (linear) or have the blend radiate from a central point (radial). Figure 115 shows a sampling of different fountain fills. See also gradient paint roller; uniform fill. Also called a gradient fill.
