art buyer
individual knowledgeable in the various forms of photographic and illustrative technique who functions as the art purchasing representative for an advertising agency or commercial art studio. He or she must be knowledgeable about available talent and capable of making the necessary business arrangements with model agencies, photographers, illustrators, photo labs, and the like. The art buyer must work in close association with the art director of an art agency or studio.
